However, my article doesn’t deal primarily with “wealth building.” Wealth is goods and services. Capital is a pool of financial resources, the purpose of which is to acquire wealth. An investment is a purchase made for the purpose of capturing gains through appreciation (through later liquidation), producing a positive cash-flow, or both.
